This was my high school's 2024 musical. For this show, I got full creative freedom with the set and had more opportunities to build more complex pieces. Little Women was the biggest show that I got to design by myself. When designing this show I thought a lot about realistic sets versus abstract sets. I decided to combine both of those ideas in my design. For the "comfortable" scenes, or the scenes where the family is all together, I wanted to make the set more realistic and make it feel safer for the characters. For scenes where characters are far from the family, I took a more abstract approach to get rid of that safe feeling.
