The Armory Free Theatre is the primary site for student driven productions of experimental theatre, original works, interdisciplinary projects, and events not otherwise accommodated by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Residencies are intended to give students the freedom to pursue their primary educational research as developing artists dealing with issues of topical relevance and contemporary social concerns.
